SkillsMarket short-listed for ATSCo's award for Innovation November 6, 2007
Following last month's announcement that we were short-listed
for REC's award for Innovation, we're pleased to announce
that our new resourcing tool, iPlace, has also been short-listed
for the Association of Technology Staffing Companies (ATSCo)
Innovation of the Year award.
This award recognizes the company which has brought to the
Technology staffing industry market the most innovative or
pioneering idea over the past 12 months and the results will
be announced at ATSCo's annual ball on Friday 16th November
at London's Royal Lancaster hotel.
iPlace, which was launched in March 2007, is already being
used by some of the UK's biggest recruitment companies and
the initial results have been phenomenal. One client has seen
the productivity levels of its recruiters increase by 40%
as a result of iPlace. Whilst another client has increased
its recruiters' placement targets by 60%.
SkillsMarket believes that, in due course, recruiters will
be able to double their monthly placements with iPlace.

iPlace helps recruiters find good candidates in half the
time as follows:
- One Tool to source candidates
Recruiters are able to search their CV database, hotlist
favourite candidates and view job advert responses from
one place. This reduces the time wasted moving between different
tools.
- Saved time sifting through irrelevant CVs
Instead of searching on the entire CV, iPlace enables recruiters
to search on the last job. This cuts down the number of
irrelevant CVs by half. On top of this iPlace is powered
by a unique combination of search engines including boolean
searching, structured searching, radial searching and fuzzy
logic to provide recruiters with significantly more accurate
results in seconds. iPlace's search results returns an average
of 4 times as many relevant candidates than the traditional
boolean search engines that most others use.
- Instant access to qualified candidates
In a candidate short market it is essential that recruiters
maintain up-to-date lists of qualified candidates. iPlace
provides recruiters with the perfect solution to easily
store and quickly locate qualified candidates in folders
that are kept up-to-date via a recruitment company's CRM
database or the iProfile Exchange. Even if a recruiter leaves,
the company still retains their best candidates via these
HotList folders.

Most recruiters waste a huge amount of time resourcing in
their email. iPlace solves this problem by giving recruiters
all they need to handle incoming job advert responses quickly

job-posting provider to enable recruiters to quickly filter
out the best candidates without having to read every single

The detailed scoring system of iPlace allows recruiters
to quickly identify the best candidates for the job. Whilst
the iProfile summary allows recruiters to make an instant
decision over whether the candidate is suitable without
having to open up their CV. This is reducing the number
