Rick Bacon joins as CEO

Rick Bacon has just joined SkillsMarket as Chief Executive Officer. Rick joins the founders, Daniel Elkins and Alex Charles, to spearhead the rollout of our new products and services throughout the UK and overseas.

Rick's extensive international experience and knowledge of running recruitment businesses as well as selling technology solutions to large companies and government is a huge asset to SkillsMarket.

Rick's diverse international career includes working for a number of major US and European multinationals and includes a period as a main board director of Parity Group plc, where he was responsible for its UK, continental Europe and US recruitment businesses and Parity's HR management services offering to large companies and governments. Most recently Rick was based in the US with PRG Schultz, the world's leader in Accounts Payable and VAT auditing and recovery where he was responsible for some 1,100 employees in Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America and Canada. He is returning to the UK to lead SkillsMarket's endeavours to become the global information exchange for the recruitment industry.

Commenting on his appointment Rick said, "Daniel and his team have built a business with huge potential to transform the effectiveness of the recruitment industry based on a unique set of technological solutions and service offerings.
